If you see alalanet-prober/1.0 (+https://alalanet.com/prober) in your logs: we check that public agent services answer the way their public listing says.

What it does

x402 endpoints: one request with the listed method and no payment; we read the 402 payment terms. We never pay and never send credentials.
MCP servers: initialize (and occasionally tools/list), then we close the session. No tool is ever called.
At most one request per host every 2 seconds and at most 120 per host per hour; most endpoints are checked every 30–60 minutes, failing ones far less often.
Only endpoints published in public catalogues (official MCP Registry, x402 Bazaar) or claimed by their owners.

Write to info@alalanet.com from an address at your domain, or publish /.well-known/alalanet.txt containing alalanet-optout, and email us. We stop within 24 hours.
